Q: When/Where is the BIC-TA 2007?

Q: Could you give me specific reference format for the LNCS or sample paper in LNCS format?
A: It is highly recommended that authors use the Springer Lecture Notes Series Proceedings template or the Latex template to prepare the submitted papers, since the papers can be complied and indexed easily. You can find all the template at our website (Author¡¯s kits) or Springer website.
Q: We have heard about that Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) will not be indexed by SCI and what about the papers accepted by BIC-TA 2007?
A: A pre-proceedings volume will be available during the conference. The expanded and revised version of all accepted papers at BIC-TA 2007 will be published after the conference in international journals (not including LNCS) indexed by SCI.
Q: I wish to submit paper for presentation at bicta2007 but my English is very poor. would like to know whether could submit paper in chinese?
A: All the submitted papers should be written in English.
Q: After uploading the file, there is no ¡¯submit¡¯ button, but can find the heading of the file in paper list and its status is ¡¯not check¡¯. Is it OK?
A: Yes, it is all right.
Q: would like to know whether there is prescribed format and restrictions on the length of the text and number of figures.
A: All submitted papers should be in one column format and single-spaced. Text and illustrations should fill, but not extend an area of 122 mm x 193 mm. Please use 10-point Times-Roman font. The full paper must be less than TWELVE pages (maximum 12 pages) in length including figures and references, High-quality manuscripts more than 12 pages are also welcome. All the submitted papers should be written in English, using the Springer LNCS style, including all tables, figures, and references.
Q: would like to know the submission deadline.
A: Here are some important dates: Submission Deadline: 20 April, 2007; Notification of Acceptance: 10 June, 2007; Final Version for the Pre-proceedings: 25 June, 2007.
Q: How do submit my paper for the proceedings?
A: Authors should submit soft copy of their manuscripts with PDF format only to the conference via the online submission systems by the deadline of midnight, April 20, 2007.
Q: Our presentation has been accepted for the conference, however, we are having problem col lecting enough funds for registering. Could you consider giving us discounted registration rate?
A: Regrettably, in the interests of fairness to all participants, we are unable to change our registration fee policies. Please refer to the registration section of the conference website for all the registration options.
